Formal Complaint Procedures

The staff and leadership at Rosa Parks Elementary School are partners in education and want to be responsive and supportive of our community the best we can. If a parent has a complaint, they can expect the school to deal with it swiftly and professionally. Whenever there are concerns or questions, parents and students are always encouraged to bring up their concerns so that a solution can be reached. The first step is to discuss any issue with the child's classroom teacher or corresponding staff member. All staff members are easily reached by email throughout the week. Discussion and resolution to a situation can require further communication. A conference can be scheduled with the staff member so that it does not interfere with instructional time. If a conference does not resolve the situation, parents can contact the Principal, Kathryn Ngo, [email protected] or Assistant Principal, Maria Menijar, [email protected].

If you have questions regarding the IBPYP Programme, please contact the coordinator, Alicia Strahan, at [email protected]. If you would like to begin a formal process within the school, please use the links to the PWCS regulations to become more knowledgeable about our policies and then you may complete and submit the form by using the link at the bottom of the page. We strive to ensure effective communication and honors our commitment to continuous improvement.
